Once a month, employees are given an opportunity to purchase a reduced cost meal plan provided by the Angel Food Ministries. The Angel Food Ministries helps many of our employees feed their families nutritious food at an affordable price. Employees are also able to purchase meal plans for donation back into the program. The donated meal plans are then distributed among the deserving families. The Angel Food Ministries also provides anonymity to those who give and receive.
Serving the communities in which we live is and always will be a priority for Presco and we provide our employees many opportunities to give back. Presco helps sponsor events such as Walk for the Cure, Special Olympics, United Way, Relay for Life and the 3-Day Walk benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Employees give their time and resources to the Grayson County Animal Shelter Pet Run, the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl-A-Thon and the Christmas Angel program at B. McDaniel Junior High in Denison, TX. In addition, our employees participate each year in helping outfit needy children with school supplies so that they may have a great start their school year. We were there to help answer Denison High School Student's questions on how to get hired, how to stay hired and how to build a rewarding career. Also, cash prizes of $50 were awarded to 6 freshman for their entries in a Presco sponsored essay contest. We had a hard time choosing just one winner!
